Alannah graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) from McMaster University and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy (MScPT) from the University of Toronto. She is certified in soft tissue release and taping techniques specialized for sport.
Alannah has worked with a diverse group of athletes as both a Strength and Conditioning and Athletic Therapy intern for the McMaster University varsity Men’s Volleyball, Men’s Football and Women’s Rugby teams. She has valued being an outlet of support to maintain athletes’ resilience and assist them in maximizing their potential in sport through a functional, manual therapy and exercise-based approach.
Alannah loves to stay active running, cycling, circuit training and by playing recreational sports such as tennis, basketball and volleyball. Alannah has completed numerous 10k races such as Sporting Life and Lululemon runs. For many years, she has also taken part in several long distance cycling events such as the Tour for Kids and the Ride for Multiple Sclerosis. In the upcoming years, she is aiming to increase her mileage in both running and cycling events across Canada.
Alannah is enthusiastic about providing creative approaches to assist and empower clients to optimize their wellbeing.
