Tesca Andrew-Wasylik graduated from the University of Toronto MScPT program. Prior to this she completed an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Winnipeg specializing in Athletic Therapy and Exercise Science.
Tesca was a competitive gymnast, soccer player, and track athlete before she switched to volleyball and went on to play at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Winnipeg, and then with Team Canada for 5 years and professionally in Romania. Since finishing her National Team career she keeps active with parkour, tennis, cycling, and volleyball. Throughout her athletic career she has always had an affinity for running. She has since raced Around the Bay, Mississauga Half Marathon, Lululemon 10km, Bracebridge Triathlon and will be completing the Scotia Bank Half Marathon in the fall. Her new goal is to complete a half ironman next year and qualify for Boston.
She is a certified personal trainer and has also completed training in pelvic health, vestibular rehab, acupuncture/dry needling, and concussion management. Having actively rehabbed through many injuries herself, she has a deep understanding of what it means to have to take time off from something you love. Whether you’re “pre-habbing” and trying to get in peak condition in the off-season or rehabbing from a current injury, she enjoys coming up with individualized functional treatment plans and can’t wait to meet you!
